Kana Biyik Earns France U16 Call-Up

Highly rated Paris Saint-Germain academy forward Kenzo Kana Biyik has officially been selected for the France U16 national team squad. The 14-year-old prodigy received his international call-up to participate in the upcoming training camp, which features two highly anticipated friendly matches in Paris

Friendly Match Schedule

The French youth setup will test its new generation of talent against elite local youth clubs:

  • Match 1: France U16 vs. Red Star FC U17 (Scheduled for August 19, 2026).
  • Match 2: France U16 vs. Montrouge FC U17

Legendary Football Lineage

Kenzo’s swift promotion through the ranks at PSG’s Poissy campus comes as no surprise given his extraordinary family background, deeply rooted in African and European professional football:

  • The Father: André Kana-Biyik, legendary midfielder for the Cameroon Indomitable Lions.
  • The Uncle: François Omam-Biyik, Cameroon’s iconic 1990 FIFA World Cup goalscoring hero.
  • The Brothers: Professional defenders Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik (formerly Rennes/Toulouse), Manchester United-owned forward Enzo Kana-Biyik, and current PSG youth teammate Lorenzo Kana-Biyik

International Eligibility Battle

While Kenzo is currently representing Les Bleuets at the U16 level, his dual nationality keeps the door completely open for the future. Due to his strong Cameroonian heritage, the forward remains fully eligible to make a senior international switch to Cameroon later in his career, making him a major target for both football federations
