Kigali Stalemate Seals Fate
Cameroonian side Panthère Sportive du Ndé has been officially eliminated from the CAF Confederation Cup following a tense reverse fixture in Rwanda. The West Regional outfit, affectionately known as Nzuimanto, was held to a 0–0 draw by regional heavyweights Rayon Sports FC inside the Amahoro National Stadium in Kigali.

Away-Goal Rule Heartbreak
- The Aggregate Deadlock: With the second-leg scoreline remaining blank throughout 90 minutes of regulation time, the two sides finished tied 1–1 on aggregate.
- The Crucial Deficit: Bertin Nguemaleu and his teammates ultimately bowed out of the continental stage due to the punitive away-goals rule.
- The First-Leg Mistake: The damage was originally done during the first-leg encounter at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaoundé, where Panthère conceded a costly late equalizer to draw 1–1.
End of the African Journey
Despite putting up a structurally disciplined defensive shift in Kigali, the Cameroonian representatives lacked the necessary clinical edge upfront to break down a well-drilled Rayon Sports backline. The premature exit brings a sudden end to Panthère’s dreams of a deep continental run this season, leaving the squad to entirely shift its focus back to domestic assignments.
