Living the Dream in Sweden
Landskrona BoIS central defender Emmanuel Moungam has officially spoken about his deep pride after receiving his second senior international call-up for Cameroon. The 20-year-old left-footed defender, who transitioned to the Swedish club earlier this year, has rapidly established himself as a high-potential asset for both club and country.

Translating Intentions into Results
- The First Impression: Moungam made his senior international debut against Australia during the initial FIFA Series phase. He immediately earned the coach’s trust to start and play the full 90 minutes.
- The Added Drive: Reflecting on his consecutive integration into the Indomitable Lions squad, the defender shared: “This second call-up is an additional source of motivation. It will allow me to play with even more confidence and give my best for the Cameroonian team.”
- The Discipline Mandate: Knowing the heavy expectations attached to the national colors, he added, “Now we must move from a dream to reality, give it our all on the field, remain consistent and disciplined because the best is yet to come.”
Eyes Fixed on Silverware
The rising starlet has outlined highly ambitious expectations for his future international path. Moungam firmly stated that his immediate goals are to remain fully focused, treat every competitive match with absolute seriousness, and work continuously under the technical staff. He maintains that by securing consecutive victories, the group can comfortably secure qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), win the continental tournament, and ultimately stamp their ticket to the FIFA World Cup.
Honoring Grassroots Mentors
Moungam also took time to acknowledge the crucial figures who supported his professional development from a very young age. The defender extended his profound gratitude to Mr. Valentin Nkwain (President of Victoria United), Mr. Henri Neba (President of Option Sport), and former midfielder Thomas Libiih (current Cameroon U17 national head coach). He also paid a special tribute to Mr. Andela, who heavily guided his path during his early formative years.
