Lions Convene for Northern Showdown
FECAFOOT and national team head coach David Pagou made the deliberate choice to host the opening fixture in Garoua to bring the national selection closer to passionate football fans across different regions of the country. Following an intense opening training phase at the military stadium in Yaoundé, the full squad was airlifted to the north via a special charter flight. The group, spearheaded by stars like Bryan Mbeumo and Jackson Tchatchoua, will finalize its tactical setups under strict closed-door conditions ahead of Thursday’s kickoff as they aim to make a strong opening statement on home soil
