A Decorated Tactician Takes the Reins
As an Editor watching the ambitious growth of our local football landscape, witnessing a grassroots side secure a manager of this caliber is a major statement of intent. Moghamo United FC has officially finalized the appointment of Coach Anumewa Franklin Ambendek as their new Head Coach.
. The highly decorated tactician has signed a one-year contract to spearhead the club’s technical department.
Elite Pedigree and Local Mastery
Coach Franklin arrives with a highly sophisticated technical background and a rich track record of producing winning teams:
- Academic Credentials: He is a PEPS/CAPEPS II graduate specializing in football, holds a prestigious Federal “A” coaching license, and graduated in Physical Education and Animation from the University of Bamenda.
- Top-Flight Success: He has managed at the absolute pinnacle of Cameroonian club football, successfully anchoring PWD Bamenda to maintain their Elite One status in 2024 and Yong Sports Academy in 2023.
- Regional Dominance: His extensive history includes unbeaten regional promotion campaigns with both Foncha Street FC and Rangers FC Bafut, winning the Northwest Regional League with Rainbow FC, and securing the 2019 University Games title with the University of Bamenda men’s team.
Editorial Perspective: A Clear Promotion Blueprint
From my desk, this appointment completely reshapes the expectations surrounding Moghamo United. The board has handed the incoming manager a crystal-clear mandate: build a disciplined, competitive unit and lead the club toward qualification for the Regional Super League. By bringing in a localized expert who has spent his career masterminding promotions and stabilizing top-flight giants, management is ensuring their young roster has the ultimate tactical blueprint to succeed.
Following the team’s initial talent scouting phases in Batibo and their upcoming move to Bamenda, aligning this fresh crop of players under a disciplinarian like Franklin could not be better timed. The structural journey towards the upper echelons of Cameroonian football has officially received its captain.
