BAMENDA — The Abakwa Boys made a massive statement in the Cameroon Cup round of 32, delivering a ruthless and commanding 7-0 victory over Renaissance du Noun at the Bamendzi Stadium. The elite side flexed its structural superiority from the opening whistle, offering no room for an upset against their lower-tier opponents.
First-Half Surge
The goal fest began in the 34th minute when Febe Fritz Bongaman breached the Renaissance defense to break the deadlock. Before the visitors could regroup, Aliyu Yaya doubled the lead just two minutes later in the 36th minute.
The protagonist of the afternoon, Fabrice Ndeh Nsoh, then initiated his individual masterclass by finding the net in the 40th minute, capping off a flawless first-half display and giving PWD Bamenda a comfortable cushion heading into the interval.
Total Dominance in the Second Half
PWD Bamenda refused to take their foot off the gas in the second half. Serge Bengono Manga struck in the 56th minute to make it 4-0, followed shortly by a 60th-minute goal from Valentine Meyanui.
With the match entirely out of reach for Renaissance du Noun, Fabrice Ndeh Nsoh completed a stunning hat-trick. He safely converted a penalty in the 65th minute before putting the final exclamation mark on the scoreboard with an 83rd-minute strike.
